Description

The Chai Tikvah / The Life and Hope Foundation is hosting our third annual gala dinner and auction on Thursday, 23 June 2016 at District Oven restaurant in Toronto. Our guest speaker this year is the former Toronto Maple Leaf’s star and Hall of Fame hockey player Ron Ellis. Our foundation’s mission is to support the growing need for mental health initiatives in our community. One of our main programmes is supportive housing. We currently have 2 homes: the Jerry Turk Fellowship Home, and the Life & Hope Foundation Triplex, a residential facility that provides people the ability to live semi-independently within their community, while receiving the necessary support to cultivate their life living skills and manage their mental health issues. We also provide supportive services to the community, including to former residents of our home who have now integrated back into the community. In 2015, we raised almost $12,000 for our organization. This year, our goal is to raise $20,000. All funds raised through the evening, will go directly towards supportive housing for mental health. Purchase tickets online here, or call 416 634 3050 or email us at info@lifeandhope.ca If you would like to donate an item for our silent auction, please contact Quyen Ha at Quyen@chaitikvah.org or Tel: 416 570 0265. We thank you in advance for your support, and look forward to seeing you in June.

The Life & Hope Foundation is dedicated to providing supportive housing for people living with mental illness. Keeping the lights on and the properties maintained as well as investing for future acquisition of additional housing to expand the program are the main calls for resources. We are grateful for all the support over the years and recognize that only you can help us bring Life & Hope to those in need in our communities.
